Tamil pesunga Thalaiva

தமிழ் மொழி (Tamil language) தமிழர்களினதும், தமிழ் பேசும் பலரதும் தாய்மொழி ஆகும். தமிழ் திராவிட மொழிக் குடும்பத்தின் முதன்மையான மொழிகளில் ஒன்றும் செம்மொழியும் ஆகும். இந்தியா, இலங்கை, மலேசியா, சிங்கப்பூர் ஆகிய நாடுகளில் அதிக அளவிலும், ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகம், தென்னாப்பிரிக்கா, மொரிசியசு, பிஜி, ரீயூனியன், டிரினிடாட் போன்ற நாடுகளில் சிறிய அளவிலும் தமிழ் பேசப்படுகிறது. 1997ஆம் ஆண்டுப் புள்ளி விவரப்படி உலகம் முழுவதிலும் 8 கோடி (80 மில்லியன்) மக்களால் பேசப்படும் தமிழ், ஒரு மொழியைத் தாய்மொழியாகக் கொண்டு பேசும் மக்களின் எண்ணிக்கை அடிப்படையில் பதினெட்டாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.

Treasure Hunt

This is a fun filled game in which team work and presence of mind plays a great role in emerging victorious. This was a map based game in which the candidates are given a set of clues through which they have to spot the places where treasures are located. Folks don't take treasures as gold or something, we cant afford such kind of things. We will hide some sort of small gifts in certain places in our campus and the clues of those places are enlisted in paper which we give to you. The rest of the job is up to you hunt the treasures as much as you can.

Tamil Kavithai

Adzap

Being an successful engineer always requires imagination to dream about the impossible things and striving towards those things to achieve the impossible. This event requires your imagination to flow out and fills the entire arena with fun and laughter. You will be given a certain worthless thing which you have ti use it in such a way to create a impact in the hearts of the audience so that it will become a marktable product. And remember you got the license to use you imagination to any extent to make your product a great success. Did you have imagination? or yet another book worm college has created? Come and participate and let the audience do the juging. 

Round One: Objective type questions which will test your knowledge about famous products and their commercials. The team which surpass the criteria mark will move to the second round.

Round two:  In this round you will be asked to present a commercial of any product you desire and you should come prepared for it. The important factor in this section is the commercial should be innovative and funny as well.

Round Three: In this final round you will be given a product or concept by the Amoriz team and you should use your imagination to create a ad for it within a allotted period of time.

Dumb C

Dumb C focuses on simple old saying that "Action speaks louder than words" . This event dont need big introduction but still we have the responsibility to desribe it atleast in a simple manner. One Should act about a concept inorder to make his/her partner understand the theme given to the team. Both team members play a significant role in this event one should posses the ability to guess his partner actions while other should act in such a way to let his partner understand his actions easily

Techno Discussion

This event focuses to make the students analyze the crisis that the world is facing today and bring  out a solution to resolve such issues. But to spice this kinda technical interrogation we have done some modifications to conduct this as a debate to bring increase interaction and to exploit knowledge from the participants. 

First Round: You can speak about your own topic but your topic should be related to Electronics and Communication. You will be selected to the next round based on your excellence in communication and subject. 

Second Round: We will provide you with a topic that is recently trending in the world of Electronics and Commuication. And you will be provided with ample amount of time to search through the topics and prepare your points before going into the discussion. We valuate based on your language and how deep your understanding in the topic you have presented.

Program Debugging

Program debugging is almost similar to the Circuit debugging instead circuits you have the debug the errors in the program given to you. As a Electronics and Communication Engineers Programs have been a part and parcel of our study so we have arranged this event to test the programming skills of the competitors and their capability to get rid of the bugs in the program. This event will be conducted based on Embedded C Programming, Xilinx, Matlab, Embedded Machine Language , C and C++.

Circuit Debugging

This event meant to test your skill with practical Electronic circuits and your potential to overcome problems while building circuit designs. You should possess great knowledge about the characterstics of electronic components and basic building block circuits in Electronics.  The event comprises of totally three rounds and the details are listed as follows.

• FIRST ROUND: Objective type questions related to electronics and practical circuits. The team scoring more than the criteria will move into the second round.
• SECOND ROUND: You have to debug a circuit in Proteus Simulation (a well renowned software tool used widely by Circuit designers)
• THIRD ROUND: In final round you will be given a real time practical circuit which consists of bugs in it. You will also provided with necessary tools and components to get rid of that bug in the circuit. The first two teams debugging the circuit in timer will be announced as winner and runner.

Electromaniac

Electromaniac event will test how far you are good at Electronics, the better you know about Electronics the greater chance of winning this event. The winner of this event will be titled as Electromaniac. Besides from the field of Electronics you will also be tested based on your general knowledge. So members get to know electronics better and become a maniac.

This event consists of three rounds. The rounds and their specifications are as follows:

• Preliminary Round: Consists of questions based on both Electronics and General knowledge. This level will be easy and you should score more than certain criteria to proceed to next round.
• Elimination Round: This round consists of major questions from Electronics and will be but tougher than the preliminary round. Top 5 scoring team will proceed to the next round.
• Final Round: This is the final round and only five teams will participate in it. The specifications of this event will be revealed at the time of the event.

Project Display

This event focus on encouraging Electronics and Communication engineers to put their knowledge practically to develop a project on their own. It also test how far students understood the subject and their capability to build something by putting all together in real time. You will be asked to explain everything about your project by means of power point presentation. We have classified this display into two types:

• Real time Project.
• Simulation using Software.

You can present either one among the above two categories. But keep in mind the more robust your project the better edge you have in this competition. You will be judged based on both your project as well as your skill of presenting your project precisely before the audience. And other factors such as cost efficiency, resolving problems, level of application and robustness have influence in judging the best project from the contestants.

Paper Presentation

Registration closed for paper presentation and we wont take any more papers. The final papers was shortlisted and intimated to the respective candidates. Thank you for showing interest in this event.

Paper presentation is all about how you put your topic in front of the public and attain maximum reach. This is a perfect arena to expose your  knowledge in areas which you are interested and in addition this platform gives you a golden opportunity to put forward your innovation for the advancement of humanity. 

You will be judged by the innovation present in the paper and the way you put your points before the public. The style and your language have a great influence in this judgement. You will be provided limited amount of time and you are expected to present your topic precisely within the limited period of time.
